From the label it looks like this can supply upto 48W of power.
Voltage is 24V, only compatible with the devices supporting passive POE input.

my local isp installed this today to power the nearby switch so just wanted to know it won't consume a lot of power.

And if anyone knows how many switches can be powered with this one POE?

I have a similar thing for excitel. Made my connection extremely stable since I installed it.

Output is rated at 24V 2A, so can consume around 50-60w at full load (incl conversion losses etc). It would rarely run at full load, so perhaps around 15-20w depending on the device connected. Only way to know for sure is to check using an appropriate measuring device.

my lco ran out of ports on the other pole so installed a new box. Connection was already pretty stable.

btw do you have any idea if this can power multiple switches or just the one it is connected to?

If the connected switch supports POE passthrough, it can be used to power other switches as long as the load stays under 48 watts.
