Vodafone "WWW" APN problem

Whenever I use "WWW" APN which is default for Vodafone I can't use some apps like Telegram, TedX etc. These app simply says no internet connection but other app like Gmail, YouTube, Ookla speed test etc. works even web surfing is normal.

Now, what I observed is that when I change my APN to "portalnmms" everything works fine.

What is the problem with the default www APN from Vodafone.

I tried to complaint by calling customer care but this bunch of idiots told that everything seems to be fine from there end and they don't know what is "portalnmms" APN they only know www APN.

Anybody facing this problem?

Nop but portalnmms is used for MMS services try IPV4/IPV6 is you only using IPV4

the IPV4/IPV6 option is already selected in the APN setting and I am getting both IPV6/IPV4 assigned

maybe try "internet" instead of www its used by idea

@devangpatel if I recall you ported your idea number to airtel . Or r u still using another number also???

Well their internet gateway and DNS resolver is congested now. Investment are required in building resilience in traffic routing. They basically need more servers to handle routing request. They are not doing much due to financial constraints. Hence you will have to bear it.

Yep I ported my number to Airtel but still Vodafone number is used by my mother which soon I'll port to Jio prepaid since her usage is not much heavy.
