GIGABIT SPEED ON BSNL......

@Nikhil Sharma Yes.
@Sai They'll need a OLT, splitters, edfa etc.

I use qBittorrent. I got it working after changing the Secondary DNS to Cloudfare. But a very starange thing happened. After I changed the DNS I thought to reload the ONT. After reloading I was getting IPv6 address and internet was not working even I though I could ping the gateway. Also my usual login password was not working and I have to change the password using Syro@43210$ and then login, then change the setting to IPv4 and it became normal again.

Anything to fix such issue?

Just a suggestion. Disable IPv6 at the moment, not much useful and also not enabled everywhere. Where did you change DNS, ONT or PC? Do a reset of the ONT and setup up everything as it was before. Did you do a back up of the config before experimenting? Enable UPNP or add NAT virtual server for torrent ports.

When you say Reload, do you mean Restore (to default)? Please answer all the queries, otherwise it gets tedious. Is torrent working now or not?

Reload means a simple restart/reboot and not restore(to default). torrent is working now. my concern now is the ONT going to IPv6 randomly and not accepting the usual password to login nothing else.

Then simply do a restore to default and config everything and see if it occurs again. Also as discussed before in another thread, did you turn on log in ONT as that creates memory issues and the setting doesn't get saved.

Right now I am so fed up with poor ftth service from bsnl and my lco that I'm ready to switch to any service other than bsnl, even jio. Bad pings, most days the link is down. It's like broadband days all over again. Hell even speeds are less than 10 Mbps, I can't even think of opting for 100 Mbps plan again(I did last month, now I'm back to 50). There used to be a whatsapp group that my lco had created for the consumers. Every day there were over 100 not working messages from different users before 9 am. Now he has deleted the group coz he too got fed up, i guess.
