Regarding security and password

Hey people does MTNL Mumbai give good and tight security while browsing. I mean do they have some firewall or something that covers the entire net and another thing. I will be getting my connection tommorow or day after. I also wanted to ask you if i change my password in Mtnl mumbai site is it neccessary to change in DSL too. Is it so if then tell me the procedure

Hi,Well, the router provided by MTNL has a built in firewall, and the connection is pretty safe. No security risks as such.As for changing the password, if you change it on the MTNL site, you need to change it in your router as well (since it remembers your password).To do this, type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser, this will open up a config page for your router. Use the username admin and password admin. Now, in the ADSL section, as well as WAN section change your password to what you have set it to on the MTNL site.
