I want to buy a Fully Automatic Washing Machine and a Dishwasher.
I have a family of 5. So would 8 Kg fully automatic front load washing machine be fine?
Front load or Top load?
I don't have much knowledge about these appliances. The machines should do most of the work and there should be minimum human effort.
Please provide your suggestions.
I don't have a budget but don't wanna overspend.
Would appreciate value for money model recommendations.

I have an IFB front load that I got 7-8 years ago. No complaints except that it goes a little crazy when I use Quick 30 that gives a 30 minutes wash, could be some issue with PCB.

I would suggest you to go for LG. 8 KG should be enough, but really depends how often you use the machine. Dish washers don't really do a good job. I would suggest against it.

Don't get top load please. If going for fully automatic go with front loading if budget permits and you can't go wrong with IFB

yeah dishwashers are not very useful for Indian cooking, you have almost scrub all the dishes before putting in dishwasher.

I am confused between IFB and LG. Both are costing nearly same. 😅

I am using a Siemens fully automatic washing machine for the past 7 years without any problems...
Things to look out for

1) It should have a inbuilt heater. (temperature controlled hot water washing feature). Particularly helpful in the current scenario with all infections and viruses floating around.
2) Front load will always give a better wash. Front load mimics the way humans wash their clothes and also consumes less water.
3) If you do not intend to buy a clothes dryer, look for higher RPM washing machine. The higher the RPM, the drier the clothes will be.
4) Once you shortlist your brand and model numbers, head to the respective website, download the user manual and make sure it has the features
you are comfortable with.
5) Larger capacity washing machines, does not necessarily mean the loading door will be big. Some bigger machines have quite a small loading door which makes it difficult to put in curtains and bedsheets....
6) Confirm the washing machine has a quick wash function....

You can either go for IFB VX neptune or have bosch product. Only thing you need to watch out is, you can't keep aluminum utensils in the dishwasher. Other than that, there is a learning curve when you start using dishwasher like where to put which utensils. Upside of this is you no longer have to be worried that you will be eating leftover of dish soap.
