In my personal opinion, Amazon exceeds at all front when it comes to customer service.
Few days back I bought a printer from Flipkart. Product page mentioned it was a wireless printer but actually it was not. Next 4 days were harrowing at best. Their chat bot doesn't work most of the times. Their social media team won't respond. When you place call back request(only way to speak to a human), those agents don't have ability to call back if the call gets disconnected and no proper notes are updated. I had to talk to atleast 20 agents and repeating the issue everytime. They can't transfer calls to supervisor. Calls get disconnected randomly, your voice won't reach them randomly and all sorts of thing.
But in the end by God's grace the product was picked up today and refund was issued.

On the other hand experience with Amazon had been top notch each n every time be it an order of Rs60 or Rs60, 000. They have come through always.

Customer Service Amazon>>>>>>Flipkart.

Amazon is top notch in terms of their CS. They have even accepted my return requests even when the return period was over. Once they accepted my book return even when the period was over a month ago.
Only once I had a terrible experience with Amazon, when the new phone I ordered was lost in transit, luckily it was a COD order.
 
Amazon is any day better than flipkart in terms of returns ,delivery and all, from my experience . I was a flipkart customer earlier , but switched to amazon due to lack of products availability in flipkart. I think since walmart has acquired it their service has gone downhill.
 
During the return process updates from Flipkart were sparse. Return was approved in the morning and their website showed product will be picked up by 23rd July. And the guy came in the afternoon without any update from Flipkart's side.
 
flipkart was going downhill from a long time. Constantly cutting cost on customer service and terrible marketplace sellers.
