I heard a lot of negative about Excitel, still went ahead and got the connection on 10-June.
On 11 the connection wasn't there in the morning, so I missed a meeting call.
The promised speed of 50Mbps never picks up, it always is below 20, and many times even below 10.
So, today in evening of 12th, I applied for Spectra. Spectra is very reliable in my area, I have personal experience with them before.
My money of 3 months plan in Excitel has gone down the drain.
 
Excitel is indeed hit or miss depending on the LCO.

Slight OT: Just my two cents. Avoid prepaying for a service unless you are sure it's good. Even if they say they will waive off installation charges or something. Better to bargain on the installation price saying you will buy multi month plans if the first month is good.

I do not understand.... you have personal experience that spectra is very reliable in your area and you also heard that Excitel is very bad in your area, Still you prepay for 3 months...
People have been telling in this forum, first check your LCO/ neighborhood before going for Excitel.... and you in your first post are just bad mouthing..... I don't get it.
 
@ijsa I had previously used spectra for a year in 2018-19...so my experience was awesome.
Excitel guy told me my area connection from them was directly through them, not the LCO.

Excitel::: is only through LCO model...

They do not directly provide service.
