Not able to make BSNL bill payment using BBPS

A relative (and myself on his behalf) tried to pay his BSNL bill using BBPS. Has not been working for past 2-3 days. It does not recognize & fetch the bill Anyone else faced this. I am thinking of asking him to pay using BSNL site or through their app itself. But usually we tend to pay using apps like Amazon, PhonePe etc & was never an issue.

Strangely enough was able to make payment on Paytm. Failures continued on other sites also using BBPS.
