Disabling TR-069 in netlink hg323rgw ont ??

I am unable to log into my Netlink ont (i was able to log in last week). I suspect the password was changed remotely and i did a port scan on it and found that tcp port 7547 open, which is used by tr-069. Have you guys encountered such issues ? Is it possible to change password without resetting the ont? Whats your opinion on isp's enabling tr-069 on their modems?
