ACT is Big Cheater - They will lure with activation offers and then will back out from them

I was an ACT customer till 2018 , but due to better offers from Airtel i switched to their connection in 2019.
Post my switching , i regularly used to get different re-activation offers from ACT to switch back.
Finally in April'2020 , I got an excellent offer from ACT saying "Upto Rs. 300 discount for next 6 months if reconnected back".



Since it was a good offer , I raised the activation request and customer care contacted me and started the connection.
I repeatedly asked about whether the offer is valid , during which their reply was that , they will definitely honor the offer.
Even initially , customer care repeatedly mentioned about excellent cashback offer from Netflix.

When the Bill came in the month of May , I saw the discount that was applied was Rs. 200 ( and not 300 ).
Upon calling customer care , they informed that with my bill plan , this is going to be the discount.
I had to accept ( as anyway they mentioned "upto" ).
No cashback was received for Netflix , in which their response was that , this cashback is not applicable for all Netflix subscription packages and only selected one ( though , in no website it is mentioned. They just say which ACT plan has how much cashback ).
Anyway , reluctantly accepted that also.

Then came the shocker. From June , whenever I call customer care asking for a confirmation about the cashback , their reply was I am not eligible.
When I threatened to disconnect , the retention team called back and told cashback will be given and for June , they gave 200 cashback.
They also asked me to mail the customer care and get official confirmation if I require it.
I did that , but even after 15 days , no reply came.
I added Nodal Officer email also , initially no reply from that also.
Later after 1 week reply came as , Service Request is raised and it will get clarified.
On the next day , the SR was closed with comment that I am not eligible for the offer.

This discussion continued with repeated email between myself and Nodal officer.
When the July month bill came , again no cashback and the saga continues.

Anyway , now I have raised final disconnection request and I am never going to connect back to ACT.
Hope others also learn from this and never switch to ACT seeing some nice offers like this.
