Amazon Pay now has credit card payment

I don't see why not. It is a regular master or visa card right?
 
Payment by Debit Card was allowed on Cred initially, probably to gain users. But then they very conveniently forgot about it
 

They did not. Debit card payments attract fees. Are you willing to foot in the fee?
 
If the total payment is above 1L, debit card payment option does show up on Cred. For less than that only UPI and NetBanking.

Yep, definitely the debit card payment processing cost.
 
CRED doesn't allow payment via UPI for amounts > 1 Lac. I paid 2 days back a bill for 1.5L via debit card on Cred. Got points for it too. Had done this for another >1L bill in Feb.
 
btw. as someone mentioned here few days ago that one of the major issues with Amazon cc payments is that it marks them as regular payments made to amazon. which app properly highlights bank transactions are credit card or neft payments? i am going through my statement and it is kind of confusing to highlight cc payments from other amazon purchases.
 
All cc payments made through Amazon come up as cc payments under My orders in amazon app
I have Amazon Pay icici card and in its statement all cc payments come up as upi payments. Wish they categorised them as regular payments to Amazon , i would have earned a cashback@ 5% as amazon pay balance 😝
