So I have this 7-year-old wifi repeater, the Netgear WN3000RP, which I'm trying to upgrade from. Currently, I use Airtel's VFiber so they have given a Huawei router. And the extender repeats the signal from that.

What I need is something more powerful, so the back area of my house is covered (where the current repeater lives). Then I can probably deploy the current repeater somewhere else.

Any good & powerful repeaters on the market?

Also, any other way to achieve what I am trying to do? Read about some things like Mesh & Powerline adaptors, but no clue if they'll solve my issue.

Thanks!

PS: Back on this forum like after ~2 years 😁)

TP-Link now has a pretty decent priced option for around 12K for three unit set.

TP-Link Deco M4

Thanks.
So this mesh system replaces the router or extender or both? Any repeater/repeater features recommendation?

i assume you would place one unit alongside your airtel router. and the remaining two in different parts of the house. this would not replace your airtel router from my understanding as it works as an access point. others would be able to provide more info.
