Got the same message, I hope everyone here is clear now about the topic we were discussing here. 😂

Why bother when they given extra 2 days with 100 mbps??
you will get 30 days with 250 mbps and 2 days unlimited with 100mbps .

Correct me if i am wrong.

It's not ok if they given those 2 days 100mbps in 30 days .

No, u have not understood the issue. My 250 Mbps plan expires on July 10.
2 days unlimited offer is active within the July 10 date.
What it means is for 28 days I will get 250 Mbps speed, and for two days I will get 100 Mbps speed.
When I have prepaid for 30 days @250 Mbps plan, I expect to get 250 Mbps for 30 days. Plain and simple...
I do not want any freebies from Jio. Moreover, how can they impose the unlimited 2 days plan on me without even asking if
I am interested in this or not?

Dear Customer, it is Jio's endeavour to provide the best service to you at all times, as we are a customer-obsessed organization.
We believe you experienced some difficulties with JioFiber services a few days ago.
In lieu of the same & as a small gesture from our side, we have credited your account with UNLIMITED DATA FOR 2 DAYS, AT NO COST.
Team JioFiber
So it looks like it's only for north indian customers because the internet was out for like half a day.

Better activate it afterwards upon expiry of current plan. And if you already activated it, that's your problem only, no one can help.
First of all, this 2 day plan is complimentary one, you have to activate it personally to get it. Secondly, they have given this in compensation to the service interruptions that was there for almost 12 hours few days back. So, if they are providing this unlimited data @100 Mbps speed...this is also good for us and should be accepted.

I think, you yourself had activated the plan without having proper knowledge of it and now blaming the company for nothing. This time you are wrong my dear friend.

Nope, my friend, you are wrong. I did not activate this plan, In fact, I was not even aware of this plan. Only when I got the sms this morning, I realized they had imposed this plan on me without me asking for it. This is why iam seething with anger.
As said, in my earlier post, I do not care for freebies. I paid for 250 Mbps and expect to get that speed for 30 days. Plain and simple.....

This is where Jio is unethical in doing the following:

1) Unilaterally implement the 2 day unlimited data plan
2) When you log into you account on jio.com, you only see the Gold plan (one has subscribed to) Only when you click on the arrow mark, you get to know about the 2 day unlimited offer being active on your account.
3) Not being transparent in stating the speed at which this 2 day unlimited data plan will work on.

Moreover, if Jio was really so considerate they should have given the 2 day unlimited data plan at the same speed plan the customer is
currently on. Imagine a customer is on 1Gbps plan, and jio imposes a 2 day unlimited plan @100 Mbps speed. Would'nt the customer be
pissed off??

my 2 days were added in evening yesterday... 1 day is lost only 1 left for that compensation but it's good... they added something

@Sammy,

Yes, that is exactly my point. Give it in vouchers, so i get to decide if i want to use it or not. Do not impose the plan on me unilaterally.
Why would any customer who has lot of data left in his plan, be interested in a 2 day unlimited offer @100 Mbps when his original plan
is for 250 Mbps?

I don't think they will deliberately imposed the plan on you alone in this whole universe. You need to check, there might be the case if any member of your family might have activated the same without your knowledge. I might be wrong and if so, you have full right to file the complaint into consumer forum with the proof you got with you.
Because, everyone else is getting the plan as a voucher which is to be activated by them personally, as per their own choice. Don't talk about the transperancy and the speed as it is just a 2 day complementary voucher. I got 6 hours service suspension and with respect to that I'm getting unlimited data for 2 days, not at all bad deal. Don't fall into the negative side of it, see the positive side in it.

It is just a matter of 2 days, don't be so obsessed about it. 🙊

Well, that is the problem. We get something for free and everything is fine.
U say - Don't fall into the negative side of it, see the positive side of it.
Tell me for my plan, one positive side of this ?
I paid for 250 Mbps and get 100 Mbps. So effectively I get 250 Mbps for 28 days when I have paid for 30 days.
I did not activate this plan and no one else in my family deals with Jio.
Also , you are only assuming that everyone is getting the plan as a voucher. A majority will not even be aware that such a plan
has been activated on their account. Even if they were, how many of them would know it is @ reduced speeds?
Of course, I will lodge a complaint. The complaint may not help me, but will prevent Jio from doing the same thing with others.

Ok. What if there was a glitch in Jio's system and your speed dropped to 100Mbps for a day? You noticed it and contacted CC. They took a complaint and it was fixed the next day. I bet you wouldn't be this upset although it would be the same 2 days of slower speed. This was at least done with good intentions to compensate for the loss of service due to the outage. So relax. By tomorrow you will be back at 250. In the interim, you will find that there is no real difference between 100 and 250. I bet there is no activity that you were not able to perform in these 2 days.

Exactly this. He is not understanding the real difference, he won't be able to distinguish the quality to speed he is getting unless he deliberately check for it. He just feels that he has been cheated. Moreover, no one here complaint regarding the same, it's only him who has encountered such problem. I can bet he has certainly activated the plan, may be by mistake but by himself only.

P.S. - Network was down for 6-12 hours that day, go after them and shout for the compensation then, the way you are looking for it.
