Has Airtel upgraded 40mbps V-Fiber plans to 80mbps (even on 499 plan) ?

Right, I expect that to be the case. Given the current situation, I dont care as Hathway is fine for me now. As a backup, whatever Airtel is offering is just fine - I dont want to pay more.
 
Similar change observed on fiber connection. Getting 50 up/down on 40mbps plan.
 
My Airtel 40 mbps connection gave 80 to 90 mbps and then it came down to 5 mbps at present and the landline is dead ........what is the problem in Kolkata ??
 
Same I'm getting like 80Mbps on 40mbps plan in Delhi but 2days back the speed was back to normal -40Mbps when I checked today it was 70-80 again Wth is wrong with airtel If they have upgraded the speed can't they just mention it in the plans? Or its some kind of technical problem from which I am.getting twice the speed

  • Are other Airtel users getting higher speeds than subscribed?
  • Do you get the same speeds on P2P downloads and from direct links of ubuntu iso ?
 
This is on a 200 mbps fiber plan.

Earlier it was 24 mbps on VDSL. At that time, download speeds were around 35 mbps.
