Internet down across bangalore...

I just learnt from vendor that BSNL Fiber internet link went down across south bangalore for the past 1.5 hour. Anyone aware what went wrong...They say all exchanges are having internet outage atm.

I was having high ping issue from few days, today it's got worse
google.com pinging @ 501ms,436ms (average)
Earlier it used to be 70-80ms and speedtest servers would be 50-70 in India but today from the morning its 350+ms
BTW I'm from Jharkhand

I'm on 849 plan.
