I have few long questions related to Airtel Xstream fiber Prepaid Connection. As there is Prepaid service of Airtel Xstream Fiber available in your cities. So, can you both guys please share detailed information according to your cities and you perspectives.

Q1 (i). In case of one month advance during prepaid connection of Airtel Fiber, what are the :-
Installation charge,
Activation charge,
ONT Router charge,
Fiber cable charge, etc. etc ?

(ii) And what would be the charges in case if we pay 6 months advance payment during the time of connection?

(iii) Are all these charges same in every city where Airtel xstram fiber Prepaid service available?

Q2. In case of cities where Airtel provide Prepaid Fiber connection through LCOs, does they really charge extra for the Fiber Cable or it is included in the basic installation charge? Because customer care was saying that in my location there is prepaid service and there is a mandatory charge (even if I pay 6 months advance payment) of Rs750 for fiber cable upto 100mtrs, and if need more than 100mtrs than Rs8/mtr will be charge extra.

Q3. For Airtel Xstream Fiber Prepaid plans, is there any kind of billing cycle & late fees penalty system? Or there is no complusion to recharge every month and I can recharge when I need like prepaid SIMs ?

Q4. In cases of Airtel Xstream Fiber prepaid connection, can I permanently own the Airtel's ONT Router because this is a prepaid connection and there is no billing cycle and no complusion to recharge every month like postpaid connections. So even if I don't recharge the Airtel fiber connection for many months, can I still keep the router with me ?

Q5. I have also Jio Fiber as a main connection .
So, If I don't recharge Airtel Xstream Fiber Prepaid connection for many months suppose 4 or 5 months & used it only as a backup connection when need, will it's connection (service) remain active or it will get permanently disconnect within few months without recharge?
If I ask in other way, maximum how many months the Airtel Xstream Fiber Prepaid Connection will remain active without do any recharge plan ?

And in case if Airtel Xstream Fiber Prepaid service get disconnect than what to do for connection Re-activate without opting a new connection? Will I have to spend Rs1000 or Rs2000 activation charge again?

Q6. What is the difference between Installation charges and Activation charges? Why they charge both in some cases ?

Q7. In each city where Airtel Prepaid Fiber service is now available, only LCOs provides connection or someplaces Airtel also provides direct prepaid connection by themselves without any LCO's involvement?

Please answer in step by step (serial vise).

@AG1001 Airtel prepaid plas are universal irrespective of city ( If they are following Prepaid/LCO model )
1) In case of 1 month advance, Charges are as follows
Router:₹0 ( Airtel property)
Activation Charges:₹2000
Installation charges:₹1000
In order to avoid these charges one can opt 6/12 months plan. For eg : 40 Mbps @800 is offered by Airtel at ₹5400 (₹4400 for plan+₹1000 for installation for 6 months , All charges included -router,etc)

2)They don't charges extra, ₹1000 is mandatory for installation irrespective of plan or months
3) Don't know , U can refer broadband FAQ on Airtel ( by typing on Google)

4)Router/ONT is Airtel property strictly

5)Dont know

6) Activation charge is ₹2000, if you go with one month plan
If u opt for 6/12 months this charge is waived.

7)In Tier -1 / Metro Cities and where they follow postpaid segment billing ,it is actually provided by Airtel

In Tier-2/3 cities , Airtel has outsourced this task to LCOs.
But one thing is worth mentioning : In LCO model, only fiber laying is done by LCO while everything else is done by Airtel ( All equipments are installed and monitored by Airtel at LCO)

(i) @Socio are you using Airtel xstream fiber Prepaid connection ?

(ii) can you please re-confirm me the Q2 that is there any fiber cable charges in your city because for my city airtel customer care was saying that I have to pay Rs750 for fiber cable upto 100mtrs & if need more than have to pay Rs8/mtr extra.

(iii) In my area, Airtel LCO was saying if I choose one month plan then I have to pay Rs2200 for Router, Rs1000 for installation and 799 for plan.

(iv) Can they provide us any special (hidden) plan if we demand. If we need between ₹799-40mbps and ₹1099-100mbps. for eg., if I need atleast 50 to 60mbps plan at around ₹900. Is it possible?

Actually Some postpaid users said that airtel's customer care is very flexible and they are not very stiff like JioFiber. They can change their plans for those customers who are not satisfied with the service and when customer wants to disconnect the connection. For retaining the customers, they can provide special plans or some discount for same plan.
But I am not sure if this is possible in case of prepaid service of Airtel Fiber. Have you any knowledge about it ?

Go through Airtel Broadband FAQ Airtel Broadband FAQ

Its been more than one month since they laid fiber.
However they haven't started operations yet ! So i m stuck with my local isp (siti BB) as of now !

Can someone confirm if rs299 be added to prepaid recharge amount of 300mbps premium plan, for 3.3tb "unlimited" data?

How does that work though? For postpaid, its added to your next bill but for prepaid, do you get the option while doing the recharge or can you recharge rs 299 whenever you want?
