Yes they are different, no need to pay GST, 1gpbs plan will be available in November.

Maybe airtel lco only prepaid plans.

4. How much is activation fee to pay?

Activation fee is Rs.1000. However, with Annual Rental Plans for 6/12 months you get waiver on activation fee & are eligible for assured discount.


For LCO cities:
  • Activation Fee is Rs. 2000 for monthly plan. However, with Annual Rental Plans for 6/12 months you get waiver on activation fee & are eligible for assured discount.
  • Installation Charges is Rs. 1000 for Retail customers.

I think these plans are for tier-3 cities (maybe for tier-2 too). They will be the same for other tier-3 cities when they launch.
 
800 wala plan is good, if it comes from Airtel without any LCO in between.

These plans have already been there always! Its just the prepaid segment . With LCO Model and wherever it finds appropriate,airtel goes with prepaid segment .

In rest areas its postpaid.So its not specifically for tier 2 or 3 cities. It is just prepaid/ postpaid demarcation.
