i want to discontinue bsnl ftth services due to bad performance i had submitted 4000 rupees at connection time. now i want my security back. can anyone help me with the procedure of discontinue. and also suggest best way to get my money back in case they dont give security back.

I think that 4000 was for installation + ont so they won't refund. Regarding security, I have been waiting for the past 1.5 years for my security deposit but they say we don't have the money.

I would suggest sticking with the lowest plan. What problem do you face mostly?

The security deposit is usually just one month rental, the rest of the amount is probably equipment cost and installation charges etc.

You'd need to submit a request to BSNL to terminate the connection, however getting a refund for the security deposit portion might take a while.

I have two slips one is of ont cost 3000 and other is of bsnl. So that mean my ont will not refunded by bsnl?

I usually face ping issues because they took 13 connection from the same pole. They don't want to spend money on new dp box.

Rs 3000 is probably the cost of the ONT, that wouldn't be refunded. And Rs 1000 is most likely the installation cost, unless you got a bill stating that it was a security deposit.

Which plan were you on? Usually the security deposit is one month rental, not more than that.

Taking 13 connections from a pole is not an issue for FTTH, they'd anyway be using the appropriate splitters and if the signal is too low your ONT itself will not register. So that's not really an issue. I'm not saying you didn't have issues but just saying that 13 connections from a pole is likely not the cause.
