A month ago Local ISPs in my city were charging 800-1200 per month for 20mbps. Plans of 50mbps and above were out of their reach. Pings were horrible.

Now everything changed yesterday I received a message that my i can now opt for plans upto 200mbps and my monthly rent is reduced from 899 to 399 for a 20mbps connection. He is charging 700 for 50mbps, 1100 for 100mbps, 1400 for 200mbps.

Pings are much better. For the first time I got a ping less than 14 on speedtest and in game ping are under 70 in CS go for the first time.

or it's possible that he got a new deal with another bulk bandwidth provider?

@arjunarora4212 My local ISP keeps switching providers, at first it was Gigatel then Weebo, and now it shows Sify. Lol. But the performance has been the same.

@karanjain06 Yes, exactly. It is higher in other areas.

Definitely.
After jiofiber, airtel xstream launching their services in each town. Local providers started reducing their prices or increasing the speed.
Along with that, leased lines rates are decreased.

Acually they are getting more profits till now.

Now prices will get cheaper, users will increase.
