So I have a sample video here:

(feedback is welcome - anything particularly annoying?)

It's a sample on Python's 'print' functionality and ideally Youtube's the place BUT there is a problem: my videos aren't innovative and I learnt from books written by Western authors. So, were I to upload on YT, I'd be taking away money from them - the actual guys that did all the work.

I wanted to know if any of the ISPs offered free space for hosting stuff especially IF THE downloader IP WAS a BSNL IP? Normally National Digital Library of India should fill this gap but so far they have not bothered to reply to my email 🙁

I don't think you would be taking money away from anyone by posting on Youtube. You did the effort in creating and explaining, Your labour counts. I would suggest you post on Youtube only.

And you can always work on your teaching and learn how to make your videos a bit different. Plus getting an audience on Youtube is far easier and its much more accessible than an obscure service which our government may or may not have.

And I am not sure why would BSNL offer to host for stuff like this. They can barely keep their telecom part working and pay salaries.

because the downloaders are mostly Indian students, I thought BSNL would be ideal:
1. no international traffic so their leased lines would not be affected
2. they'd only pay to to other ISPs or in this case - they'd get money from other ISPs because they'd be providing content via NIXI
3. I suppose the videos will eventually find their way to YT but.. that's not on my head (roughly - and I can ask YT to take emm down etc)
