what cost for device and wire do bsnl take charge from customers for ftth connection?

A few days back I got BSNL Fiber. Paid Rs.3,500/-.

A local private company has got tender for implementing it. They said that they are charging this, as a fixed charge. Usually, it is calculated as per the wire that they have to draw from the station. But they are charging flat amount and they cannot charge more than that as per the agreement.

They also supplied Netlink GPON ONT. It has 2 antennae for wifi. Has similar wifi range as that of TP-Link ADSL2+ modem I got before. 3 Years warranty also.

Took 200GB plan for Rs.499/-

Hi Guys, I'm in Ranchi these days and wondering if i should opt for FTTH ? Dont want to pay in excess of 3500 for a pathetic connection like it used to be in ADSL era.

Airtel 4G on a hotspot device is working okay although it mostly switches to 10Mhz Band 40 giving me low speeds of 5-8 Mbps instead of 25-30 Mbps which irritates a lot. Also not to miss, the measly 75Gb for which I've to pay Rs 588 p.m & data top ups are costly too (Airtel just doesnt works in CA although I can latch on to 1800+, 2300 & 2100, one at a time). I play DOTA 2 and pings are just okay on airtel if i want to indulge but was mostly unplayable on ADSL.

I asked board band connect in karnataka state here they charging 8000 for dual band connect + they are saying u r main line about to 500 mtr long so per mtr 15rs it cost around 15000 what should i do 🥲
