Huawei & ZTE ONTs (EPON & GPON)

I am buying a adapter for ONT.
The provided adapter is 12v 1a with standard barrel pin.
Will buying 24 watt with 12v 2a burn out the ONT.
I do not want to take risk.
Also,can you help me buy a xpon ont.
Maybe source it locally and ship to me...

As long as the output voltage is the same, it's not an issue. You can even use a 10A power supply, the device will just draw what it needs.

@varkey I want to buy the Huawei GPON, but it's not available any where online. Do you know where I can get it cheap? One friend is taking Ethernet Xpress, and some guys at Ethernet Xpress had given me a similar Gpon after paying 3k+ for the large Huawei modem with Wifi. The Wifi was horrible though. This one is perfect. So I wanna buy it separately for a friend, and right now, there's nothing online for cheap. TP-Link Gpon goes to 2.5k and just one crappy styrotech gpon is available. Any leads?
