Looks like its testing yet

Does anyone know how I can disable this feature? The option has disappeared from the app long time back but parallel ringing is still active on my mobile. I called the customer care twice but both the agents were clueless. I even wrote a mail but the reply told me to reinstall MyJio app which did not help. Any suggestions about how I could stop parallel ringing on my mobile would be appreciated.

Even I too have the same problem. I have tried all feasible options but of no use. Even after un installing the My Jio app, it still rings. The customer care executive advising to drop a mail at Jiofibercare@jio.com and after dropping a mil, a auto reply mail comes to communicate with Jio live chat bot. Chat bot does not understand deactivation of parallel call...quite frustrating. Looks like I did a mess by trying this option

Actually no one from the customer care is aware of this feature As it was in testing i think and has been removed from the app for reasons better known to them. The only option is to talk to your local Jio staff.I dont have any issue with it as i do not get any calls on the landline

The customer care staff do know about this feature. They call it 'Parallel Ringing'. Both the agents with whom I spoke told me that the feature was launched for a few days for testing and it has been disabled now. But when I tell them that if the feature is disabled then the parallel ringing should stop, they have no answer. They tell things like 'Clear cache', 'Reinstall app', etc. for the sake of saying something. One lady even told me to check my mobile with the manufacturer. She said the mobile might be faulty. I just hung up the call after hearing this😂

They replied to my mail 2 days ago saying that they will forward the issue to their technical team. Today I got a call from them (it was a private number, not the ones that begin with 1800 and all). The lady told that they have resolved the issue and asked me to check. I checked and the issue was indeed resolved. The mobile doesn't ring anymore. So parallel ringing has been finally disabled for me.
So @crymetyme and @Raghunath Mishra you can try mailing them if you want. They will deactivate the parallel ringing feature.

@ap99 I am ok with it as i dont use that jio number and even i do not get any calls on the jio landline either,Have a bsnl landline for the purpose and airtel mobile as my primary number, btw on what address did u mail them?
