Yeah dude I can understand I'm sorry if I am being rude I didn't mean too.... They have to serve 1.5M customers so I think it will be a big challenge to satisfy all of them... Keep calling to customer care everyday that's what we can do right now ...

Most of my friends have ACT here in chennai and everybody is happy with them.
Maybe they're using some contractors to give out connections in your city.
This is very bad for a company like ACT.

sorry i did not read u lost your job.. that suks ! can u pm me ur contact info i will let someone from ACT in Bangalore know to contact u if he can help, as he works with ACT !

Even I have ordered Act Storm pack of 6 months for 8390 on 1st of July the next day a engineer came and said that the switch box nearby is more than 80 metres so they insisted to install the switch box in my home. But after that the agent is not even receiving the call and not replying the message. If feel they r cheating and act is a fraud company. It's been 14 days still no one has come to install the connection. Worried about my money. Can anyone help me in contacting act their customer care number in their website is also not working. My enquiry id is 102421805781

I understand your concern @Text2aaron . Really bad you lost your job . But in this situation we really cannot tell who is genuinely having a problem in customer service and who are actually cheating on customers .I can say ACT does some fraudulent practices with customers . My friend tells the same. You can call their Regional managers or they are called Nodal officers which look into your matter. Escalate it more higher each time your call from Customer service gets dodged . Dont let the issue get burried . You will get your money . Just keep pestering them ....Lodge hundreds of complaints . Call their headquarters . They take advantage as we cannot go to their offices in this situation

And for a change of Broadband , I would suggest BSNL Fiber as they add your Installation charges in your first bill of connection

ACT says they are serving with UG network, But that it total fake. They have all their fiber all over the air on electric, telephone poles and buildings.
So where ever they go the local cable operators conflict with them and cut their cables or vice versa. In the end they say they will take legal action -blah blah, but nothing happens and evntually they make you roam their office and waste a handful of money. Seriously ACT is a worst corporate network that cant handle the physical cable network at all and I mean it. Out apartment has suffered a lot of because their nuisance and non-helpful policies. They are just paper tigers. I would not recomment ACT at all from my experience.

So far for us BSNL Fiber has been a lot better during this situation and we will stick to it as its got a UG to our building and has been very safe and stable. Thanks for reading!
