U might find one or two product I did mention that in the comment but they are not putting up their whole GPON product stack up here in Indian market.

I did find another gpon product of TP-Link it was around 5k imported one.. Wasn't based for indian market.
You could get few sellers selling this imported or maybe few products, and argue based on that.

All I'm saying this products won't show up in search in the first page or it is not much marketed by this companies be it D-Link or tplink in the current Indian market where ftth subscribers are growing day by day.
Why is that these reputed companies not able put up a good product.?
I see people preferring huewei ont as standard even those aren't available! We would have to shop from AliExpress.

Those which are commonly available are those cheap Chinese ont routers. Why is that the situation.?

Bruh, let me ask a counter question. Cars without abs, ebd, airbag and having poor crash impact tests heavily outsold better built safer cars. Or that less demand was there for motorcycles with abs. Why? 🙂

Eriek_halenx they are still not available on the market I did mention it was introduced and it was there somewhere. I have enquired in offline markets and in online markets they are always jacked up prices by third party sellers. (if it all its available in Amazon or flipkart)
I never undermined their quality. As @varkey mentioned it was introduced in 2019 and it's still widely available why is that. And cut me that airbag analogy.. Their routers are no way expensive.
The lowest princess was 4999/- {ont +normal router would go for minimum (3.5 - 4k)}
Everyone knows that there lot of routers in any online/offline market where u can find router more expensive than that.
In a nutshell; the company isn't promoting the stuff!, that's my gripe.

Your analogy that costly better built cars are there is a good one; but even those costly cars be it benz or bmw if it's not available in kerala. And there is no service centre for it in kerala would a rich man still ho all the way upto north to get?! (maybe few might be bought)
The product needs to available in the market where it can be purchased easily be it benz or maruti cars so that whoever wants can get it readily. That's what Iam questioning here, I still can't understand the rationale behind it.

One year after introduction still not promoting stuffs for in a market where there is lot of ftth connections coming up,i think that's absurd stupidity! As simple as that 😊

@Ameen TP-Link has both EPON and GPON routers in their product stack but nobody buys it because of the cost. D-Link has only GPON ont products as it is the most used technology in the western countries.
Though GEPON has more installations globally, it's because of smaller ISPs in Asia that's driving up the number.
Even bigger isps like Jio and airtel use GPON as it offers more bandwidth which is same in the case of western countries. Even ubquiti and Mikrotik offer only GPON products.
dont buy tplink ont. its gpon not dual mode or xpon..
they have huge lot of gpon onts and stuck.. for isp's they are giving gpon olt 1.25lac+tax free loaded if any isp buys 700pcs gpon ont priced 980+tax bulk..
if ur lco has epon olt only xpon or epon onu will work..
gpon olt needs ont or xpon ont..

always buy xpon onts they work on both epon gpon.. prefer to buy branded one rather than chinese oems//

anybody want genexis they can contact me..

if genexis routers are good and work in place of my Syrotech GPON/EPON onu, i am interested in buying one. can you please let me know the price, availability and if possible, a picture of the device.
thanks

Bruh lets not compare the benz's to maruthi✋😅🤚. My point was, a common man say 10 years back, buying the lower cost older model swift, vs say a better built punto or polo with ABS EBD etc... The actual point being low demand. Look around our house's to our neighbours. How many would take the default ont offered vs how many would be willing to pay extra for a better quality device...

Well you are the one who wanted it be compared from an economic stand point view not my fault 🙄🙄(you need not take into account the benz example; u could think of it as any product)

There will always be a market for good products - that's how it is and that will always be how it would be.
Eg- Why do expensive android phones exist when cheap android phone exist? , why does Apple products have higher price? Lot of such things
Iam sure there would always be customers for good products.

There is no such thing as extra money this cheap ont are being sold at 3k price. Why do you simply don't understand what I am asking...?!
Price was never a factor.. There are much costlier products(routers) in Amazon and flipkart or even offline markets readily available for purchase, why isn't it this products available? That's my question?

The TP-Link router was prices at 4.9k (5k aprox)
If you are going with a simple ont and good wifi router that alone would cost you 3.5k minimum.
How is that too much expensive to get everything in one good router? 🙄🙄

Tplink's archer c7 is priced at 4999? If everybody just wanted internet why don't they go with c6? You could always find this routers in their own stack priced more than this.

Please try to understand - all I'm asking is why didn't their marketing department do it the right. I know it's the wrong place to ask something
But please don't justify something stupid saying it was priced highly so there would be no one to buy it.

All those routers available in online stores are by third party sellers and jacked up prices; if the company themselves had any intentions, they would could have released much efficiently like their other routers.

There is something else that's being the issue either the company isn't Intrested or its the failure of their marketing department..
