Any one figured out port forwarding on Reliance Jio Fiber

whatever I do port forwarding just doesn't seem to work on this connection. I have made all the configuration changes and am stuck at the firewall part (at least that is what I think is the problem).

Did a test for the allotted port using PFportchecker and it shows the port is not reachable. On my torrent client, the TCP port is showing as blocked by firewall/router.

This is what I see on bitcomet (don't know if it may help understand the problem).

Port forwarding will not work because jio is using cg-nat.

hmm, yeah I remember getting this same reply when I asked the question I guess 6-7 months back. I thought things would change after the official rollout but I guess they didn't.
so what is the solution for torrenting then, or are we plebs doomed to slow seeds with Jio?

@bigman91: Does seem to make a difference though on not so popular or older torrents with fewer seeds and peers. And it definitely kills any chance of using other P2P apps like DC++ and being a member of any of the better hubs.

yeah plus if you are using private trackers, seeding becomes really slow if ports are blocked, it fucks up my seed ratio too. i guess i will have to stick to public trackers for now.

Yes speed is normal during browsing. Also downloading games at steam, i get 16-17MB/s constant via lan. Only torrenting seems to be the problem. Do you have UPnP, Port forwarding figured out in your router settings?

I planned to take on this connection and booked for the same but after reading all the comments regarding slow/ capped download speeds on torrents I am now in two mind. I have remained a hardcore, torrenter, for the lack of a better word and I download super old (which has extremely low seeds), old (still on the lower seeded side), new stuffs whenever my mood kicks in, so that's gonna be a problem then? I usually download from public sites but sometimes I do use IPT too and maintain a 1:1 ratio obviously. Please advise, the guy is gonna call tomorrow to set up the connection, apparently and this is gonna be a deciding factor.
