I think I was charged for sms alerts for the first time since I got myself a Yes Bank account. I wonder what else they have added since they fucked up everything. I was of course not notified of any changes. Or I missed it if they sent me some kind of update regarding service charges.

And of course, you cannot connect to an actual person on their helpline because of Covid-19. Probably would end up shutting this account just because of this bullshit.

I guess I was charged 10+tax because it was applied in February. Even online banking has disabled the Inbox feature where you could file a complaint and get a response.

yes bank has never charged for sms alerts. hence the thread. are they now going to recover the bad loans by charging 70.8 rupees per year from people who are STILL STAYING with them? good strategy!

SBI guy arrives at Yes Bank. Notices that Yes Bank is not charging for SMS Alerts. Gets a heart attack. Doctor recommends... FIX KARO JALDI.

honestly, i have no issues paying for things. but it should be charged on a yearly basis. debit card is charged on yearly basis. just add all fixed charges in a single transaction and get it over with. sms charges is also the reason i ended up shutting down my icici bank account. i was just keeping it alive. and the bank statement was just them taking out money every couple of months like chindi chor. JUST CHARGE ONCE A YEAR!

Is it mandatory?

I think we can disable this service & charges. Balance messages is actually spamming and stopping it will reduce the clutter......

try reaching your relationship manager on his mobile........ I would not do so at present because I am avoiding him, as he is persistently asking for FD's.....

Eventually I will be closing 5 a/c's in the family with Yes Bank, after lockdown is over....

same. i was going to keep the yes bank account active with some balance in it. but this is just absurd.

it's cute that their call centers are basically useless these days. but they want my contact details on twitter to help me with my query.
