Change of Jio ONT box . Need Advice

I have the white ONT box right now from 2018
Is it advisable to get the new black colored box?

Will it make any difference wrt to Speed and performance?
 
white one is dual band wifi n better. While blue is single band.
So wifi speed 'll reduce on black/blue one.
Rest both have gigabit ports.
 
Black box is single band.

Connect your pc to modem with lan cable and check speed. if your getting low speed in wifi then look for alternate options.
 
Let me clear your doubts.
There are 3 types of ONTs:
1. White Dual Band - JCO500 (Security deposit :₹4500)
2. Blue Dual Band - JCO4032 (Security deposit :₹2500)
3. Black Single Band - JCO110 (Security deposit:₹2500)
Blue dual band router is only provided to customers with Gold plan and above.

Does anyone know from experience whether the White Dual Band (JCO500) and Blue Dual Band (JCO4032) models differ performance-wise?
 

You don't get the White Dual Band router(JCO500) now. It was only provided to the customers who were on preview plan from the beginning.
 
@MadAxe: So the Blue one's a newer/better model that has replaced the phased out White one, or just a cheaper version being provided now by Jio?

White modem has 2 usb ports and dual band.
I think blue has single usb port. Every thing is same.

They stopped Giving White modems. Replaced with blue one.

Now only 2 modems available black and blue.

Do external routers work well with Jio?
