hi.. I want to report a harassment report to Cyber Crime Police of India....

The only detail I have with me is the phone number of the person.

How long does it take to resolve the issue and police handling the concern?

good luck filing a complaint first. i was told that since i was a guy i should just ignore the calls and block the number. no need to file fir.
 
I dont know how to block a number....

he is asking his friends to spam me everywhere on social media from various multiple accounts and on whatsapp too.
 
whoa. almost all android devices i have seen are capable of blocking incoming calls from specific numbers. i assume same applies to iPhones as well. what kind of phone are you using?

i am not suggesting that you do not file a complaint. you really should at least give it a try. if the cops of this country took these complaints seriously, things might get a bit better for everyone.
 
Problem is that... He's not single... He's asking his friends to spam me everywhere... Getting my point?

If it was a single person.. I would do the same as you said... but then... asking multiple people to do the same everywhere 🙁

So far I have blocked 10 numbers and 10 people on social media already
 
i am not sure how that changes anything. file a complaint with cyber cell. keep a record of every single call that is abusive in nature. spamming is a different thing. if the calls and messages are abusive, you have to keep a record of it and try to file a complaint. if your phone has call recording feature, record these calls.
