Sir, I live in Chennai. I've been a long time customer of BSNL for the past 16-17 years.
Due to some drainage related work in our area by corporation, BSNL landline wire got cut in October 2020.
My dad made a complaint. BSNL personnel told us that it will take time to fix the line issue and that the bill can be paid later when issue is fixed and they will adjust the amount.
They fixed it in March 2020 and told us to pay the bill to get the connection back. However after few days, there was lockdown due to Coronavirus.
We couldn't pay the bill online as we have to go to the branch first to get connection reactivated as formality.
The local BSNL office is closed due to Corona issue. The next nearest branch is also closed.
I contacted the customer service regarding this issue. They told me that BSNL account will be suspended if bill is not paid as it has been few months. I told them the scenario, but they're of no help.
Kindly help me on this issue.
