Wahl 9243-4724 Home Cut Complete Hair Cutting Clipper

So I don't want to visit our local Barbour for next 1-2 years due to this crisis and need a trimmer+shaver to look decent ASAP😂. Which one do you folks recommend?.

What are the parameters should I be looking at while buying a trimmer+shaver?. Anyone have prior experience with Beard, Body & Head Trimmer ?.

If the experience turns good, I might stop visiting Barbour forever!.

After checking out the Wahl & Andis websites, I noticed that most of the models sold on Flipkart & Amazon don't feature on their site. Except maybe one on the Wahl site. Both have distributors in Mumbai.
Whatever I look at its not deliverable to my pincode. Was prowling around in my neighborhood for a trimmer, but no luck. Still hoping to get my hands on the Philips mg7715/15 at its pre lockdown price or slightly more but not the inflated prices currently in vogue. Vijay Sales is even got a strategy for this, they say pay 2k now & 1699 just before delivery. Delivery will be after lockdown rules are eased off. Not really sure when that will happen. ☹️🥴

For those who have hair clippers are in need of the oil for oiling the foil. If you can't get the original then then sewing machine oil (also called light machine oil) will do. Even WD40 will do as it's a light lubricant & a water disperser.

So I got a straight edge razor from local market and a Xiaomi trimmer from a friend's store for temporary usage. Spoke with local ATS, eKart and other courier guys. Shipments are not coming properly. So will manage with what is available locally.

The disposable razors by LetsShave are much better compared to Gillette ones in the market. That particular model was on my list. Due to delivery issues I ended up getting Xiaomi one. Will manage.

and yes, dexter v6 is also very good. my dad is using it these days. had gotten it for myself. went back to double edge from bombay shaving company.
