Hi! I want to buy a smartphone for my mother. The one she's using right now is Mi Note 4 (for more than 2 years now). She doesn't have any issues with it as such, but recently she has realized the importance of 'camera', because of Zoom meetings and video calls. Mi has screwed up the operating system over time, so I would really avoid buying an Mi phone. Usage is quite limited to games such as Angry Birds and YouTube.

So, I got the Samsung M21. I think it's low on stock, had to ask a friend to keep an eye on it and he ended up ordering it for me as it was going out of stock within minutes.

My mother really likes the display, vibrant and quite bright. She doesn't feel like looking at her old phone now. The phone feels good in the hand, and it looks quite good. Have ordered a case and tempered glass as well, and it would come by the end of the week. Will be able to use it properly then.

P.s No earphones. 🙁

I would have suggested for MotO fusion +. Stock Android, super smooth. But yes, the screen is huge, mom would not have liked it. Surprisingly, the camera performance is pretty good considering the price. And massive battery too.

Moto g, 5g got relaunched too. Moto seems to have done away with amoled/oled screen even in 20k to 25k phones.

Intended to do a camera comparison for M21 today, instead ended up testing my camera lens. Lol

I'm considering Moto Fusion for my sister. And I absolutely forgot to do a camera comparison for @anant.del shall do it soon.

I really miss smaller phones with 5 or 5.5 inches form factor.
If possible, go for one + fusion. It has a full hd screen, 6 gigs ram so you are future proof and also it would help her in consuming content(studies and videos). I do not know the use case for your sister but generally speaking from a long term perspective for a mobile (2+) years.

Else even a simple Redmi phone would do if you intend to change phone on a regular basis.
