Hi! I want to buy a smartphone for my mother. The one she's using right now is Mi Note 4 (for more than 2 years now). She doesn't have any issues with it as such, but recently she has realized the importance of 'camera', because of Zoom meetings and video calls. Mi has screwed up the operating system over time, so I would really avoid buying an Mi phone. Usage is quite limited to games such as Angry Birds and YouTube.

stock android is main reason me stuck with nexus 5x for so long lol. but Motorola is doing good job with stock android too ! Not much chatter on moto phones though since the success of moto g and most of us on forum got it in sale ! 😀

I hate bloatware, adware, shitty user interface which makes it difficult for users to use apps of their choice to do tasks like browsing, document viewing on the phones. And all this come as a package with Chinese phones such as Xiaomi, unless of course you have a device with Android One.

That's why I bought the Asus Max Pro M1 it's near stock Android & was a great phone when new but Asus updates are buggy & screw up ur experience totally. 😭🥴 Whereas Asus Max Pro M2 in my hse is a total disappointment as in 13 months the battery has swollen & the back cover has seperated from the body of phone. Is never charged overnight & always charged wth its own charger. Asus has opened a complaint but the service center is still closed. 😡 Looking at Galaxy M31 6gb ram 64/128gb rom as an option.

Galaxy A50 is another option with 1.7aperture main camera. Though it would get just one major os upgrade.
But still for 15k with 4000mah battery makes it a slimmer phone. Plus black color is too good.

pixel 4a for under for 20k if google price it right this time though they haven't any of their pixel phones in past, should be much better experience, launch also is expected this month, let's see what Google does 😀

Currently even with a 5000mah battery I have to charge every day. If you don't want the phone to get hot it's better to do a top up charge at 50%. If charged after it goes below 50% the it can get hot, upto 40° to 42° thats my experience wth Asus Max Pro M1.

What are disadvantages of sub-10K phones like......... Redmi (7,8,9)A series, Realme Narzo, Infinix Hot series....

Where camera requirement is just for clicking some document to send across whatsapp........ all have 5000mah....... don't play games....... bloatware can be removed......
