Due to less network load, BSNL is slaying right now.

480p cap on YT mobile is pretty annoying, can't bypass it using premium or vanced.
Using VPN is the only solution.

@humblefool That's on the border, but not yet outside of the operating specs of the device. You mentioned that changing the position of the cable helps with the throughput, if so it could possibly be the signal levels.

When you do get higher speeds, do you see better levels?
 
@varkey RX remains constant. But Tx Varies from 1.7 to 2.5 continuously. Now I am getting around 48mbps of speed with that variation
 


@partymonger Getting this low speeds everyday in working hours from around 11 am to 4-5 PM. In evening speed is around 55-60 Mbps. Did Complaint 2-3 times but no solution 🙁

I had similar issues for one whole month. To this day they couldn't isolate this issue. They lco and bsnl enginners tried lot of variations to isolate the problem, finally the bsnl operator went and reconfigured every connections to my lco. Thats how they could fix it but they still dont know what caused the issue of low download and normal upload speeds. The problem is bsnl would never accept the fact that it was a problem on thier side, instead would play the blame game on lco.
 
@Ameen Mine issue is only in between 11.30 am to around 5 Pm. Once this peak hours are over I get normal 50 Mbps speed. Its just i guess traffic has increased because of work from home. I got a call today from NIB. They asked for speed screenshots and traceroute screenshot. I hope they will be able to solve the issue.
