hey guys, I'm planning to upgrade my bsnl fiber plan to superstar 300, but I have already paid for my current plan for a year which will end on February 2021. So is it possible to upgrade and how will the bill be adjusted? Also is there an advance payment?

Which is your existing plan? 🤔

You would need to reach out to BSNL, they should be able to change your plan. It wouldn't be possible over the phone or through the self care portal, you would need to visit a BSNL CSC or exchange.

There is long term plan for Superstar 300 as well.

Regarding how it would be adjusted, most likely they'd charge you the prorated amount and the excess would be added as account credit which would be applied to your new plan. If you go for the monthly option, I think it would remain as account credit and you wouldn't need to pay the bills until the net amount due becomes greater than zero.

Will i be able to degrade to old plan after 2-3 months? because I wont be using it much after this whole Corona stuff gets over, 🙂

You may register in selfcare portal (selfcare.bsnl.co.in) there is an option to change the plan. After giving request to the portal, You have to wait for some time to get your plan upgraded (sometime means few hours to few days)

The amount will be adjusted rightfully. So go for it.

better to create billing complaint in remarks write for plan change then accounting officer will call u and give email id on which u have to email application for plan change after emailing him he will change plan of ur connection

i followed same way for changing plan of my connection in lockdown time
