Airtel Xstream Fiber Box installation?

u getting airtel fiber?
 
Not yet but soon. The airtel guy said the box will be installed near my house in a week. I just want to know whether they will install the box with underground wiring or not as I dont think there is underground wiring possible in my area.
 
My Local isp said he has done tieup with airtel for xstream fiber. When I visited him to opt broadband connection he was forcing me to wait 3 months and get airtel instead.
 

For me they installed multiple poles in each lane from which connections are given. And yes there are airtel box kept far from each other, looks one for every small area (around 20-30 lanes). This is in Bangalore

Thanks for the picture. Now I don't know what are they gonna do in my area. I hope they are right about a week to install the box near my house. I m fed up of local isps here.
 
For me it took about 2 months from start of laying underground fiber using machines to getting connection and this is Airtel directly giving connection. No LCO involved.

Yes ...i think this is the best Kind is implementation. No fiber cut issues unless someone digs with a JCB which happened in my case , where it took them around 5 days to rectify because they had to rectify only once municipal work is done
