I have this problem for nearly three months now. The Nokia ONU G-140W-C reboot once / twice daily. When I am connected to my office VPN and in a conference it takes a lot of time - about 4-5 minutes to get back into the meeting. It is really become non usable for office meetings.
It started happening 3 months ago when there was some fault in Airtel equipment in our apartment and the ONU was constantly rebooting. Then they changed that faulty equipment connecting several floors. Although the immediate constant reboots stopped, but the ONU keeps rebooting daily once, twice or even thrice.
If I telnet and see the reboot reason - it is not changed. The logs at debug level do not show any reboot reason or anything unnatural. Simply that the booting process starts suddenly. It seems like firmware crash, but not even kernel panic is logged.
I asked for replacement modem from Airtel and they provide Nokia G-140W-F. But it is showing the same issue - it reboots daily once / twice. Today it rebooted 3 times within 6 hours.
Some people in our apartment complex are saying they also face ONU reboot issue daily. But it is only apparent if you are in video conference, otherwise with buffered video you may not notice.
Anybody faced this issue, any solution?
