Hello everyone, I recently took a FTTH connection. In the settings it was mentioned that for any of the changes to take place the modem should be rebooted. So I took a back up of all the settings which got saved as a [ .xml ] file. And I was going through the various options in the admin menu. After watching a YouTube video, in the WLAN security settings, I changed the authentication mode from Personal (preshared key) to Enterprise(RADIUS), entered Radius password as 123456 and clicked apply changes. As soon as I clicked I got disconnected from wifi. I tried to connect again to the hotspot with the default username and password as mentioned in the video. But it is not connecting. I do not have any cable with me at the moment to connect the router to my computer. Is there anything that can be done from my side other than to call the ISP for troubleshooting. Thank you in advance

Do you have a radius authentication server on your LAN ? You need such server for using Enterprise security.

@sharon As you have configuration backup, find the reset button/hole in the ONT/modem and press it until ONT reboots while power supply in on. It will reset to factory defaults.
Now, get the WiFi login details from sticker on ONT/manual and restore the configuration if you have taken the backup before enabling Radius server.

If configuration backup taken after enabling radius server, then open the XML file in text-editor & find the VLAN IDs, PPPoE login details etc. then manually configure it.

@sanke3 No I did not have a radius authentication server. I understand that's the reason why I remained unable to connect. Thank you

@abhi5819 Yes, it worked. Cheers. Tx

Steps I followed
1. With the power on > hard reset by pressing the reset button behind the router > about 30s
2. Connected to the wifi > default password :12345678 (given in the label)
3. After establishing connection > 192.168.1.1 > the default username and password given in the router label was showing error. With a bit of help from google managed to figure out the credentials username : admin and password : stdONU101
4. As I logged in, there was another page asking me to change the admin password. So I set a new password and went straight to the tab : Management > Config file management > Choose file > Upload as default > Save/reboot.
5. After reboot the admin and wifi password was reset to the credentials saved in the backup file.
The connection is back to normal now. Thank you everyone. Have a great day! Stay safe
