I use ethernet connected to my laptop. and my phone is connected to 5ghz wifi. both get VERY close to 100mbps. But it never goes higher than 100mbps and it never gets 250mbps which i paid for. Tell me what i can do.

@varkey
We may need to take him in conference call with Mukesh Bhai.....😂😂😂😂
Ok,seriously.
I don't know which laptop you have.I have seen a recent Dell laptop with 100mbps port....
As far as i remember, jiofiber ONT have gigabit port. So,my primary suggestion is to check with your laptop.
You can find the details in network adapter properties in windows.
Please check and revert back.
For the case of phone....It is strange....
Please check the link speed shown by phone.
I would suggest to contact the innocent jio customer care executive....😂

I used to get 900+mbps on a 1gbps plan in usa. and my phone is a iPhone 11 pro. All latest tech. Also the upload speed is constant. 25mbps. but the download speed is stuck on 100mbps.

Its all latest tech. With 1gigabit ethernet port. also the phone is iPhone pro. this is something about jio. not the tech i have.

My silver plan which was 3 months expired today. And i paid for GOLD PLAN. Which is 250mbps download and 25mbps upload. But i am stuck on 100mbps download and my upload is 25mbps.

jio should focus on ftth and 4G, but they focus only free data, recharage propogonda on social media handle. In my area jio laying under ground fiber cable 2014, but still no use. this year january , jio install overhead fiber for jio ftth, but they stop work after complete 50-60% work, on feb last week. Yesturday i call my friend who also use jio, but voice call cracked, and call droping. We are blame airtel, vodafone but jio performe worst. They don't bother any complaint only copy paste reply forword to user.

Try on LAN connection

The router is directly connected to my gigabit Ethernet port. And still its at 100mbps download with 25mbps upload. Is this because of the router? Is jio fiber router not capable of going beyond 100mbps? Have you guys changed your plan on your jio fiber account and got different/higher speeds??

Restart your jio router. it happened to me too. fixed after restart

Restart meaning switching off the plug and turning it on? or some other way in the settings of the router? If this has happened to you, what all things you have done to gain the speed. And yes jio gateway connected to computer via ethernet.

lmao i am in India. We lose electricity like 10 times a day. Ofc its switched off and on. Any other solutions? Is the router not capable of doing more than 100mbps or what.

Make sure your cable is minimum CAT5e or CAT6. CAT5 cables sometimes have a hard time in maintaining Gigabit speeds and drop to 100 Mbps automatically.
