How to bypass corona message on outgoing calls?

There was some USSD dial code on Airtel to disable these messages - I think it is following:

Method 2 To Remove Corona Virus Caller Tune –
Working Perfectly For Airtel Users, Other Users Check In Your SIM

Open Your Dialler & Dial *646*224# and press 1 to Deactivate

Done !!

I've started asking the other person to give me a call, their number isn't reachable.

Works fine on my samsung phone on Airtel.
 
Appears to have worked i.e. the "deactivation" .. Next need to make calls and test.
 
didn't work even on Nokia 3310. so i can only assume this is circle specific. sabir and vignesh are in chennai. vishal is in pune. samuel, navjot and me are in delhi ncr. not sure about anant... mumbai?
 
*678*33# seem to show the option for me but doesn't seem to disable the thing. Seem to have added airtel's own message for thanks app now 🤔
