How's Life in Lockdown

Many states have imposed 144/Lockdowns to prevent spread of corona virus.
My State TN has imposed 144 starting from 6pm today which is poor fucking move because people are trying to get to thier hometowns which have caused chaos in bus stations and railway stations.
But Health Ministry in my State is doing a fine job but only complaint I have for them is they're not testing enough people and have a set of criteria to check the patients.
How's your state handling things and how you guys are keeping yourself busy.

I've been trying to register on battle.net for CoD Warzone. But every time I hit the submit button, it just reloads the page. For two days straight.
Tried different PCs and browsers.

This is day 9 at home (began isolation early on doctors advice) and working/studying from my home desktop and laptops. I actually renewed my Tata Sky TV connections for 3 months so that I could watch the news and not depend the struggling internet connections for viewing. Stopped viewing Netflix and other streaming services. Torrenting is restricted to a max of 3-4 hours a day. Working, studying, yeah this is DAMNED boring but then health and safety comes first. All payments made via card/UPI/NEFT. Maids given off from Fri till 31/3, salaries not deducted and no cash handling either. Salaries paid through e-transfers. All groceries purchased online, with a few items from the neighborhood kirana wala.

Yeah, and I am also breathing in the cleaner fresher air, appreciating birds tweeting and singing. It is nice to see world slow down albeit for the wrong reasons.

Glad to know that you paid full salary to your maid.
We've done the same and encouraging people to do so. But many are not ready to do so 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️.

Corona has reached nearby areas that are 2-5 KMs away, people are panicking, shops and everything are closed. Some vegetable markets are jam packed because Navratri is also here. Kuch acha ho nahi raha hai waise. The internet speeds and connections are very good here, there's that.

People in my village had been very ignorant till yesterday...But are becoming more awarded and maintaining social distance.For the case of internet.....no other person in village have a personal connection.I got just because I filled pgportal complain...It is better than wireless which don't work after 4 pm till midnight.
Learning is great....I love self paced learning.Working on HTML,JS,RUBY ON RAILS among others.
No college,so lots of free time to pursue hobby.
Morning time is great.Less social headache...PS It is not that much but still things are good enough.
Got snacks for 3 weeks....😅

Based on what I hear from colleagues, Jio Ok-ish , AIrtel & Bharat Fiber are Good , Netplus is pure crap !!

I am struggling to get a BB connection bookings are not happening Airtel is saying tomorrow surely for past 3 days and act guys are saying wait for 5 days as they lots of pending requests.

Omar bhai has asked the govt to enable 4G in Jammu & Kashmir. Hope the govt enables it there finally.

I am almost out of methylphenidate, don't know anywhere I can get it in Gurgaon, even if I can I need a fresh prescription as it's a schedule X(schedule 2) drug, different protocol making it impossible to get it more than once from one prescription.
A huge pain to get it prescribed and the doctor who prescribes it is not available.

It's effect duration is around 3 hours so I need quite a bit, without it I am a lifeless zombie, extreme anhedonia.
Let's see what can be done, just because many abuse drugs like methylphenidate (High dose causes a high like cocaine) someone who actually needs it has to suffer.

what accounts for fresh prescription here? do they stamp the prescription so that it cannot be used to get the medicine again?

i have some experience with lonazep. not sure if it is the same classification drug. chemists would only give it if prescription was recent. they did not mark it in any form but this is from long time ago. i didn't try but i don't know how it would have stopped me from getting the same drug from multiple medical stores. 🤔

but yeah seems complicated. usually the chemist you frequent should understand the problem? but i guess the drug you are talking about is a bit too serious for that even?

Normal chemists don't have permission to keep schedule X drugs like methylphenidate, they need special licence for that, AFAIK only about 5 chemists in Delhi carry methylphenidate.
Schedule X drugs consists of narcotis (morphine etc), amphetamine, methamphetamine (as the name suggests its also known as crystal meth, yes that meth), ketamine etc.
methylphedinate, meth, cocaine are all same category drugs known as CNS Stimulants, OFC methylphenidate being quite weaker than the other two

The chemist i normally get my medicines from (apollo pharma) doesn't keep methylphenidate, had to buy it from delhi, Apollo guys know me and gives medicines like lonazep(clonazepam) and lorazepam( both are just normal prescription medicines not schedule X) without prescription easily.

Apart from normal prescription, there is another slip which consists of details like hospital/doctor/clinic licence number and doctors stamp which is then kept by the chemist.
Online pharma companies like 1mg doesn't have permission to sell schedule X drugs
