BSNL Security Guidelines for Third Party ONTs

Dated back in February.

I can assure you, BSNL Meghalaya has not followed the orders in that notice in regards to contacting the customers. Many people I know are still using default logins.

For me personally, all the head officers know me by name and avoids me because I end up giving them a lecture on basic networking instead 😂

These officers listened to your lecture too? Never thought this might be possible with lax attitude of government employe

@Realme They had no choice, including CGM/GM.

Either they fix the speed issues for my connection or I switch to Jio Fiber and encourage my peers and family to drop their BSNL connections.

Do you really think that they have no choice, they have job security and they got no marketing quotas to meet unlike in pvt sector?

and GM are quite asenior post in govt/PSUs

@Realme BSNL employees are not government employees. They are an employee of an enterprise owned by the government.

For that matter, come to Meghalaya and try asking the locals, only a few are still using BSNL, the majority switched to Jio Fiber or NELine or SkyBroadband.

BSNL is scared of losing more customers in my state.

The thing is with GMs and PGMs is that you'll rarely find someone who will not listen to you or misbehave with you if you put forth your point clearly and with facts, it's the case across all govt dept. To put in short they usually seem interested in knowing whats wrong and act on it. While the same may not B for the officials in the lower hierarchy, there are very few who would listen to you and your reasoning, rather than imposing upon you their knowhow, which at times is limited and restricted.
