The plan has been made available from 19/03/2020. Is this new plan available for existing broadband users (to migrate to this plan)? Does one have to opt for a separate voice plan if any? Conflicting reports are available online that says it's only for one month and others make no mention of the period. BSNL has played it well to call it a relief plan amidst all the Coronavirus situation but I understand it's a ploy to lure the existing landline ONLY users to subscribe to their broadband services as well. Some media reports mentioned that after one month of free usage the customer will be migrated to their basic broadband plan (2 GB bsnl cul). I went to the self-care portal and found this plan (Plan ID 704491) available for me but there's no mention of it being a "promotional" or limited period plan & neither it says anything about the duration. It also asks for selecting a separate "voice plan." My landline use for voice calling is pretty much non-existent, so I'm not sure what to select.

Has anyone availed this plan yet? All comments are welcome that can throw some more light on this.

Thanks for reading.

Hi ,
i Have availed this plan , but below is my service name -

I-H-DLY-10MB-12G-2MB-M ,

can anyone help how to read it. I can understand it is 10MBPS, 12GB and post 2 MBPS, but is that 12 GB getting credited daily ?
And also if it says 10 MBPS, i get only 5 MBPS. Not more than than at any time.

BTW , i live in a place which has only BSNL and with curfew, i am satisfied with this plan. But just need to confirm that speed that i am getting is as per the plan.View attachment 878

I believe that's NOT the work@home plan. The name of your plan suggest it's the 12gb CUL plan with 12 gb/day limit @10 Mbps speed. The new plan "work@home" has a daily limit of 5gb/day @10 Mbps.

Regarding speed, it depends as mentioned above. Contact your nearest telephone exchange/National Internet Backbone office and let them know to upgrade your speed as per your current plan. However, I cannot say if they are still actively working amidst this outbreak or not.

For most Citrix, SAP or Oracle Financial platforms, daily 1 to 1.5 GB is all the data transfer that is required. Only the first time set up in a machine may require more than 5 GB data.
yes all my Sap work gets finished in 1gb , including skype chat ...
