Guys! I observed an interesting phenomenon today. The signal strength at my place decreased due to a new building coming up between the Jio tower and my house. I thought of reporting this to Jio just to see how they would respond. I couldn't find an option in the MyJio app. However, I found an option to report slower speeds. Interestingly the speeds went upto 23 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up. I thought it was normal and the network worked fine despite the obstruction. However, the speeds were pretty low after sometime. I again did the same thing, which resulted in a bump in speeds, but not as much as before. There was still a good difference. I could experience the increased speeds until I turned off my mobile data. Can you guys verify this. It is possible that they are doing this. Despite poor reception, they can prioritise QoS to show good performance atleast for sometime when the user wants to report slow speeds.
