Binatone DT 850W viable for ACT?

Hi,

Just ordered an ACT Fibernet connection - 40mbps, 200GB.

The guy told me to do buy a new router as apparently what I have doesn't support it. He said it was only meant for Airtel, BSNL 2mbps connection.

When I looked up online, I see that this router supports up to 150mbps. So I wanna know if I can use Binatone or should I buy a new one?

Yeah it might not work. There is no WAN port on that device, it's an ADSL modem cum wireless router.

Idk if it supports using one of the LAN ports as WAN, but overall it's a basic wireless device and pretty old. I'd recommend getting a new one.

The TP-Link Archer C6 is a well priced and decent wireless router.

If you can configure it then 40mbps is easily attainable via 150mbps n router.
