Thanks, what about the TP-Link AC 1200 modem which is priced at 2900? What are the significant differences? Also are there any steps for bridging the ONT to the TP Link modem. I am asking because I had to configure the 2750U modem in bridge mode with the ONT to make it work

I recommend this for Gigabit performance. @broadbandfreak77 It has MU-MIMO.

@broadbandfreak77 I have one of these at my home.
Dont ever get this.
It doesn't have custom firmware support and has horrible wifi range.
It also an older model but except for these shortcomings it's an pretty good gigabit router with great features built into it.

Regarding the C6 Router, do I need to just connect the LAN cable between the ONT and the router and it will work straight away or do I have to change any settings in the router for the internet to work?
