Dear @Realme ,
I have been facing exactly same the issue with BSNL FTTH.
1. I have been seeing unreasonable upload usage in the range of 40GB to 80GB per day.
2. Data usage was seen even without any device connected to the internet.
3. One day I saw 100GB in one Day (My whole data allocation is 500GB ) 🙁
My solution to this problem was
1. Changing Wifi password daily ( Do not trust my device it is cheap chinese OptiLink ONT Modem)
2. Switch off the modem when not in use ( turned off except office hours )
3. I have been using NextDNS IP as DNS Server. ( Don't know if it will make any difference)
It is been very hectic 3 month for me.
Could you please please please tell me if you have got any solution for it?
I have been looking allover the internet for it.
Eagerly looking forward to your reply.

Many Thanks 🙂
UPDATE:
Fortunately my 3 months old Optilink ONT died on me and I received new Syrotech ONT from my LCO ( Kudos to Spydernet!! )
And also I managed to change my PPPOE default password.
and looks like it is going good for now may be because of my new modem or changed password.😅
I do not see any untraceable heavy uploads (60GB to 80GB/hour. Yes per hour! out of my 500GB quota).
But still following my routine of turning it on only when required/ WPS off/Ports Closed/Changing WiFI password daily.
So help me God and Figures crossed🙌.
Will post my observation after some time.
