What does the 'Combo' in '600GB CUL-Bharat Fiber Combo Plan' mean? Also did you get any telephone with FTTH plans?

It's been more than a 8 months since I'm using the '600GB CUL-Bharat Fiber Combo' BSNL FTTH plan. May I please know what does the 'Combo' in this plan mean? In the BSNL website this plan features unlimited data (which is capped at 600GB at 50mbps and 2mbps thereafter) and also features 'Local + STD - Unlimited any Network'. So I think this combo means call facility. But I got only an OptLink modem (OP-GONT 90211VW) with this plan and didn't get any telephone device to make calls. What about in your case guys? Did you get any telephone? If not how you are making calls using this plan? Is there any better plan with the same data and without call facility which I can migrate to?

What's your average data usage? Is it more than 300gb?

Your modem comes with a telephone port, if the phone/voice settings are configured, you'd be able to connect a regular telephone device and make/receive calls. If its not working, reach out to BSNL or the cable operator who installed the connection, they'd be able to help you in configuring it.

Regarding cheaper plan, there is the Superstar 300 plan which comes with 300 GB data and free Hotstar premium subscription for Rs 749 + tax

Yes, around 500GB per month. I'm working online so this much data is needed every month. But I think there's no need of any calling facility through my broadband connection. So which plan would be better option? 300GB plan is not enough for me 🙂 .

Yes, there is a port named FXS on the backside of the modem. Did you get any telephone from BSNL with that modem? Or do I need to buy a separate telephone on my own? Also the 300GB plan won't be enough for me, anyways thanks for the response.

The Landline/voip telephone services are added perk. It doesn't matter matter you use it or not. The bill remains the same. If you do want see the brochure(with plans) I will post it over here.
I think with 500 gb usage the current plan you are using is the only one. There is this 777+gst plan(50Mbps till 500), AFAIK that plan would be available only for first six month usage then you are upgraded to 849 +gst plan (100gb extra data and same speed).
