@varkey I can't change no matter what.

Even though it is saying "current password incorrect" it looks like your new password and confirm password are mismatched 😀

You have to enter full username eg. ab2029xxxxxx_wid@ftth.bsnl.in

But I am getting "your credentials mismatch" when I enter the right user/pass - looks like BSNL might have disabled logins on that page for now.

Yep, the full username (with @ftth.bsnl.in part included) is not working on that page now.

https://redirect1.bbportal.bsnl.co.in/portal/ gives me "User profile not found". I tried entering the creds with and without the @ suffix. Thanks @varkey for link to this site.

http://172.30.110.25:8090/ssssportal/manualRedirection.do accepts my creds (without @ suffix though) but runs into "Kindly login with correct user name bounded with your current broadband connection" error message.

Other users have reported the same problem too - Change BSNL Broadband Password Online for DSL / FTTH Internet.

I guess I will have to live with the default "password" 😆

Try with a different browser then?

@Ameen Unforuntaly other ISPs use CGNAT, port forwarding is blocked, there's also traffic shaping which is non-existent on BSNL.

BSNL advantages:
Open NAT, free public IP Addresses
Port Forwarding
No Traffic shaping
Transparency, they will even let you see OLT configuration if you demand them to

BSNL Disadvantages:
Regular downtime
Speed issues due to lack of sufficient bandwith
High latency to servers just 5 Kilometres away (I'm not joking)
Unstable BGP, that changes route every fucking second
