@razpor Last couple of days though some time I got good speed as well. But mostly, it is slow, packet loss, pinging fails to 8.8.8.8.

bsnl's backbone was infected by malware

My connection is completely down from 11:30pm yesterday. Earlier it kept on disconnecting and reconnecting after like every 2 minutes, but now it's not connecting at all. My Syrotech ONU UI has also now changed to DBC. I reset the ONU and reconfigured again in bridge mode but still Router refuses to connect. I strongly believed, it's malware.

@thadougamer It cannot be malware on customer end. I have TP-Link ONT and router. There's no router exploit out there that will work on multiple brands and models for so long.

But the SDE called me yesterday and said there's some malware on their OLTs. He said LCO were upgrading firmwares. It's been hours now and there's still no stable connection.

Like what the fuck is taking so long to push low-level code? I have been very passionate about computer science since forever and I cannot think of a single technical reason to explain what takes Indian ISPs forever to solve basic issues other than incompetence.
